fisheries, novice and expert anglers are spoilt by the
quality of fisheries and the outstanding scenery surrounding
them.
Rivers offer fantastic sport with brown trout, sea trout,
salmon and grayling. The River Tweed, in the Borders region,
is internationally renown for its salmon fishing. Angling
clubs and associations have beats on the rivers Tyne,
Wear, Till, Nidd and many more.
We are definitely spoilt with choice.

Can you help?
Barbara Devoti works for the Quality Assurance department for VisitScotland.
She is putting together recommendations for all accommodation providers (from hotels to campsites)
on how they can be more helpful to guests staying with them who are participating in nearby angling.
As an expert and someone with background in this area, she was wondering if you could take a few moments to answer her questions.
In what ways could accommodation be improved to suit the needs of anglers?
Can you think of any examples of good service you have received, or heard of, from an accommodation provider?
Is there any practice an accommodation provider might have which would put you off staying there?
